ClarityNest Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 June 2026

ClarityNest is built to be private by design. The short version: your data stays on your phone. We do not collect it, we never receive it, and the app cannot send it anywhere.

No account, no sign-up

ClarityNest does not ask you to create an account or provide any personal information to use it. There is no login.

What the app stores, and where

Your journal entries, drawings, stickers, moods, habits, companion progress, and settings are stored only on your device, in the app's local storage. They are not uploaded to any server, because there is no server and the app has no internet access permission.

What we collect

Nothing. ClarityNest does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDK that gathers information about you.

Exports and backups are yours, and only happen when you choose

You can export a journal book as a PDF, or create a full backup file, from inside the app. These are created only when you tap to do so, and are handed to your device's own share sheet so you decide where they go (for example your Files app, or your own cloud drive). ClarityNest never receives a copy. Anything you choose to send to another app or service is then governed by that service's policy.

Notifications

Optional reminders are scheduled locally on your device. They are generated on-device and do not involve any server or external service.

Losing your data

Because everything is stored only on your device and never backed up to us, uninstalling the app, clearing its data, or losing the device will remove your journal. Please use the in-app Back up my journal feature to keep a copy you control.

Children

ClarityNest is suitable for a general audience and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
